With increasing pressure to deliver projects on schedule and the latest turbine technology we realised that we can only deliver on expectations if we develop and make available a well structured and trained team witch could handle all operational demands.
With the challenges in mind, we have put in place a team structure with management at all levels to increase output and the levels of execution but at the same time insure development, control , support and communication throughout all levels as well as with stakeholders
Since its inception, TEC Services has focused on Europe as its main area of operations completing on land projects in the UK, Ireland, France and Norway.
As part of the companies medium term growth planning, a decision was made to extend operations, as a first phase, into other developing markets.
Africa was identified as an area of interest and in 2012 negotiations started to partake in future projects in South Africa as the gateway to Africa.
In 2013, TEC Services signed a contract with its trade partner to build the first NORDEX, N100 Gamma turbines (40) in South Africa .(Dorper Wind farm)
TEC Services has for this reason established a South African based company, WTEC SA, which complies with all local legislation and with a full compliment of local labor trained to meet industry standards.
After successfully completing the first project in the beginning of 2014, a second Nordex site with similar model turbines (32) were allocated to WTEC for completion in October 2014.
Since completion of our Second Windfarm (Kouga) we have focused on Services and Maintenance for Nordex
